| So just a little update for all of you who still might pop over here and read this thing every once in a while... I'M ENGAGED!!!!! Yes, it's true...God is so amazing. We're so happy and blessed to have found each other, and we're both really happy. We had been planning all week to go on a hike to Crab Tree Falls (the longest continuous falls past the Mississippi) and to take a little picnic with us. Crab Tree Falls is already a very special place for us because it is where Evan first told me he loved me back in September. So we were on the hike and because of time constraints we've never actually made it all the way to the top (a two mile up-hill), but yesterday we were determined. So we started out, and we came to the spot where he told me he loved me, and we stayed there for a moment just remembering, then took off to finish the hike. We then came to an even more beautiful spot right at the base of the top falls. We were standing at awe of the beauty of creation, and Evan wrapped his arms around me and turned me to face him, then after a short but every romantic and sweet speech, he got down on one knee and asked me to spend the rest of my life as his wife. AHHHHHH! Being the girl that I am, I burst out in tears, but finally managed to squeak out a yes. It was amazing. And my ring! wowza! He then took me a dinner at this amazing little Italian family owned restaurant where he had reserved the best seat in the house (oh, and he did give us time to go back and clean up). The dinner was amazing, but what was even more amazing is that we decided to do our desert under a weeping willow they had outside with chairs underneath, over looking a great view, and directly in our viewing area a fireworks show started! Apparently there was a festival celebrating the dogwood trees, but everyone at the restaurant said that they were for us. It was awesome! The perfect man, the perfect love, a perfect life together. Praise God for all his many blessings! Save the date...December 22 is what were praying about. love you all | | |
| I thought last semester was bad...This semester I thought it would be a wise decision to take on 7 classes (21 credits), it's a suicide mission I know, but it will be worth it in the end, and they're art classes. So four weeks into classes I've already had at least 20 projects. This week I have at least 13 or 14 projects due, which are costing me a fourtune! I have so much work to do I had to quite my job! Wowza. Pray for me
Love to everyone

| I think it may be time for a little update.
Praise the Lord the semester is finally over! After all the trouble I had in the begining, I managed to get all A's and B's. Eight classes is a lot to take, and I'd never suggest anyone to take that many. Funny how I say that and next semester I'm taking 7 classes, thankfully they are all Art classes. Everything else is going great. My parents are about to move to Peru, my brothers still in Florida, and I'm still living in Lynchburg, VA working and trying to have somewhat of a life. My family had a great Christmas, and Evan was able to come up for a few days to spend time with us. So, to sum it all up, Everything is great.
I hope everyone is doing well. Take care.

| This entry is specifically for Suzi, Dani, Steph, Dan Jones, and Aaron. (I believe these were the main members, if I left one out, forgive me)
I don't have pictures, I wish I did, but today in my biology lab we were learning about animal behavior and we actually got to fight two beta fish. It was kinda neat watching the "ritual" the males go through to protcet their territory or to gain it. One fish was a total winnie, but the other fish took charge and grabbed a huge chunck of the winnie's lower fin. Crazy.

| well, I thought it was time for an update..it as, afterall, been a month. So Thank you for all that prayed for me, I do believe that I was able to get my second wind and I'm ready to finish this semester has strong as possible, and blast through next semester. When I get passed next semester it will be so close to graduation victory. Also all my classes next semester revolve around art! How exciting! I love art, so much. One on my friends is going to pay me to draw some pictures of him and his girlfriend for her Christmas present. They have been dating since their freshman year of highschool which makes it 5 years!
Well I must go...papers can't write themselves
